Learning is hard. The only way out is through.

‍Today is another day where I find myself closely acquainted with the word count, patiently waiting until enough words locate me in order for me to be able to call it day. The difference with today, is the lens through which I view my tiredness.

I tire of talking about how ‘hard’ things are. Like any sort of exercise you start in the gym, it will be tough at first, your muscles will tired, your faith in your ability will be shaken, but you keep pushing. You teach yourself to believe that one day you will be strong and whatever feels like an intense workout today, someday, it will be your warm up. ‍ ‍

I am not sure what will occupy this space of my life once this 90 day journey is over. This part of my life never existed before. Perhaps my evenings were spent watching a show, may video of some kind, however, all this is new.‍ ‍

The Full Send was created as a way to urge myself into action. Create a means through which I could hold myself accountable as I attempt to create a body work. When The Full Send started, 001. Introduction, was the third piece of written work I had produced. I had never before that put myself out there in such a way. Then all of a sudden, it was a daily requirement.

Today, it feels like a part of my day. A pocket of time where I explore whatever thoughts arise or have been manifesting. A space where I attempt to find words, create sentences that can illustrate ideas in the best way my vocabulary and knowledge of grammar are capable.

Through this practice, I have taught myself there is no such thing as writers’ block. From this practice, I have learnt there are thoughts that you do not think are worthy of much attention or praise, then there are those that you raise on as pedestal and turn into a book. Turns out most thoughts are not worthy of much praise, however coupled and paired with other thoughts, new ideas, or even the same ideas, can be better illustrated.

So I write this to say, this is the life that I chose, and to live it, I have to live it.

There is something exciting about the sleepiness I am fighting to allow these words to exist beyond my mind. Through the writing of this, I have drifted off a few times; not for long but enough to know that if I do not meet that word count soon, then I risk falling asleep on my sofa, where I am currently writing from. Though, the end is near.

I wonder what the world of writing and writers looks like. I wonder how their styles of writing differ, I wonder what they write about. I wonder if some of the, have dared themselves to do the same as I. I wonder if they are just pushing with all the remaining brain power they have left after whatever kind of day they , trying to make sure they meet the count and make that deadline.

However it goes, I guess somewhere out there, there is someone learning that what seems tough at first, chances are, it will be tough as you progress; however, if you do keep going, keep trying, keep typing, somewhere along the way you’ll be nearing another finish line.

Thank you for your time with me here dear reader. Another day, another try. I hope you are back here tomorrow, hopefully, I am less tired.
