Meet Our Team

Much of this chapter I can trace back to this painting. This was truly a moment. I remember just sitting there, watching this canvas as it mocked me. I had nothing. Everyone else around me knew what they put on their canvases and I sat. So, I retaliated. I even startled myself; I went straight for the black and put my first mark on the canvas.

It all sounds so poetic now but, I just had to get on with it and let go. I am so grateful for moments like these that have the ability to echo. I remember much of last year a thought that echoed was self-portrait, never quite understood the term. Until this moment.

My name is Stephanie. I was told once that this painting just screams Stephanie. So, hello. I am the creative mind behind this project. I have spent far too many moments sitting and watching the metaphoric canvas. Lately, I choose to let go of those fears and let my priority be putting pen to paper. Simply getting things done.

I have never done anything quite like this before. Like many of us, this too is my first round at life. I am just trying things out and I am excited to partake on this journey.
